Get Back in the Game is a one-on-one support program for young people aged 15 to 21 who have disengaged from school, training, or employment.

Careers Network delivers Get Back in the Game across the New England and North West region of NSW, working closely with young people to help them identify goals, overcome barriers, and take practical steps toward their future

What Is Get Back in the Game?

Get Back in the Game is a personalised support program funded by the NSW Government and delivered by approved providers.

The program supports young people who are not currently engaged in education, training, or employment, or who are at risk of disengaging. Each participant receives individual guidance tailored to their needs, interests, and circumstances.

Careers Network works alongside young people at their own pace, focusing on achievable goals and practical pathways.

Careers Network delivers Get Back in the Game across the New England and North West regions of NSW.

We work in partnership with secondary schools, community organisations, and local services to ensure young people can access support close to home.

Who the Program Is For

Get Back in the Game may be suitable for young people who:

  • Are aged between 15 and 21
  • Have disengaged from school, training, or work
  • Are unsure about their next steps
  • Need additional support to build confidence and direction
  • Face barriers to participation such as anxiety, low confidence, or limited access to opportunities

Participation for the Get Back in The Game is voluntary and free.

Careers Network works closely with schools and referring organisations to support young people who may be disengaged or at risk of disengaging.

We provide clear communication, regular updates where appropriate, and collaborative support to ensure the best outcomes for each participant.
